Pet-Friendly Apartments
TruRidge® is pleased to accept the following traditional pets (subject to breed restrictions):
- Cats
- Dogs
Plus the following non-traditional pets (must remain in proper cage at all times):
- Domestic hamsters
- Hermit crabs
- Gerbils
- Small domesticated birds
- Small domestic fish
Pet Fees
Fees apply to all pets including cats, dogs, fish, birds, hamsters, etc.
- One-time pet fee (covers up to 2 pets) = $350
- Additional monthly rent for cats and dogs = $35 pet pet
- Additional monthly rent for non-traditional pets = $35 total
- Two (2) pet maximum applies
Pet Policy Details
For cats and dogs, a veterinary certificate stating the following must be presented before move in:
- Breed
- Weight
- Age
- Verification of pet registration
- Verification of required shots/vaccinations
- Verification that the pet has been spayed/neutered
Additional pet rules:
- Weight limit (per pet) = 55 LBS
- Two (2) pet maximum, applies to all pets other than fish
- Cats and dogs must be housebroken/potty trained
- Cats and dogs must be at least one (1) year old
- Pets must be kept indoors only, no outdoor pets
- Fifteen (20) gallon maximum fish tank size, one (1) tank maximum

The following dog breeds are restricted:
- Akita
- Alaskan Malamute
- Bloodhound
- Boxer
- Bulldog
- Bull Terrier
- Cane Corso
- Chow Chow
- Doberman Pinscher
- Fila Brasiliero
- German Shepherd
- Great Dane
- Husky
- Mastiff
- Perro de Presa Mallorquin
- Pit Bull
- Presa Canario
- Rottweiler
- Saint Bernard
- Sharpei
- Staffordshire Terrier
- Tosa Ken
- Wolf-Hybrids
- All “mixes” of the above breeds
- Any dog breed that is considered aggressive or vicious
The following cat breeds are restricted:
- Bengal
- Bobcat
- Chausie
- Pixiebob
- Savannah
- Any cat breed that is considered aggressive or vicious
Other restricted pets include:
- Snakes
- Parrots
- Large Birds
- Reptiles
- Ferrets
- Monkeys
- Rabbits
- Livestock
All pet fees, pet deposits, pet rent, weight limits, and the maximum number of pets allowed per apartment are subject to change at any time without notice and may be subject to certain restrictions. Service animals are not considered pets, therefore the restrictions and fees above do not apply. Service animal documentation will be required.
